We are an independently owned pet store located in the beautiful Grove Street Neighborhood in Gainesville, Florida near the Duckpond, Pleasant Street and downtown Gainesville neighborhoods. We ship and deliver directly from this location and are open for IN-STORE SHOPPING Monday-Friday 10am-7pm and Saturdays 10am-5pm.

IN-STORE PICKUP - FREE

Purchase online and choose Local Pickup as your shipping method. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1-2 hours during business hours. We will send you an email or text when your order is ready. Please have your order confirmation with you when you arrive.

HOW TO ORDER FOR HOME DELIVERY

Purchase online and choose Delivery as your shipping method. After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation from us and we will begin preparing your order for home delivery. 

HOME DELIVERY DAYS & TIMES

We deliver Monday-Friday except major holidays. For same-day delivery, order by 2pm Monday-Friday. Orders placed after 2pm will be delivered within 24 hours. Orders placed after 2pm Friday or over the weekend will be delivered the following Monday.

If you need a delivery outside our regular delivery days or times or for an address outside our normal delivery area, give us a call or shoot us a text and we will do our very best to make it happen!

HOME DELIVERY ADDRESS TYPES
We deliver to any residential or business/office address within our delivery area.  With business/office addresses or apartment complexes, just let us know where you want us to leave the order (i.e., main lobby, your actual unit, etc.) by leaving a comment in the cart when you place your order.

HOME DELIVERY FAQS

Who is my delivery driver?
We're a small, locally owned business & it's just us chickens here!  We do not use a courier or 3rd party delivery service.  Your driver will be one of the Tabby Team - the same familiar faces you see in our store!

Do I need to be home for Home Delivery?
No, we can leave the order at your front door, or anywhere else you would prefer.  Just make sure you leave a comment in the cart when you place your order.  If you do not have any special instructions, we’ll make sure to leave the order at the front door waiting for you!

Do you deliver frozen raw food or treats?
Yes! If you are ordering frozen products, we recommend that you be timely with receiving your order.  You can leave an ice chest on your porch if you will be away…just leave us a comment in the cart when you place your order.

SHIPPING WITHIN THE USA

We offer shipping within the USA for most items. *At this time, we do not ship alcohol, frozen items or certain large items. If you place an item in your cart that is not available for shipping, you will need to remove that item from your cart before proceeding to checkout. 

SHIPPING SCHEDULE - WE SHIP DAILY!
All orders are typically shipped within 24 hours after checkout. Occasionally, there may be delays outside our control and we will communicate with you if that happens.

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

SHIPPING METHODS
Primarily, we use Priority mail via USPS (United States Postal Service). Most shipments arrive between 2-4 business days from date of shipment. When USPS is experiencing delays, it will likely affect your shipments expected delivery day. 

SHIPPING RATES
Shipping charges are automatically calculated and displayed when you enter your address information. In order to to keep our prices as competitive as possible shipping is calculated by the weight of the products selected. This way whatever the size of your order we can give you the best possible price. To view delivery charges simply add your items to your cart. This will NOT commit you to purchase; simply add or remove items to see adjusted postage.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

In-store Returns
In-store purchases can be returned within 30 days of purchase to our store. For purchases with a receipt, you will receive a refund for the amount paid. For returns without a receipt, you will receive an in-store credit upon approval.

Online Returns

Online Returns must be processed within 30 days of receipt of your merchandise. Downtown Tabby is not responsible for return shipments lost by the carrier. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless due to an error caused by Downtown Tabby.

Any merchandise that is in used condition and/or returned without the original packaging may be refused or subject to a repackaging fee. Online purchases may also be returned in store. Returns must be processed within 30 days of receipt of merchandise. The packing slip included with your online order is required to make the return.
